Interning for The LadyGang Podcast gave me an understanding of the multitude of skill sets required to build a podcast. Working directly with host and creator, Keltie Knight trained me how to construct a successful partially scripted, partially unscripted podcast. Being an interview podcast, The LadyGang also trained me in how to construct effective, research-based questions for celebrity guests including Karamo Brown, Jonathan Van Ness, Jenna Fischer, Darren Criss, and more. Coordinating these celebrity interviews required confidentiality and professionalism. Host Keltie Knight trusted me to devise interview games and highly researched introductory blurbs tailored specifically to each of these high stakes guests. In addition, the LG team trusted me to record multiple episodes when their recording producer was out of town.
